Der requisis_Doors Bouncer überwacht wie lange Nutzer aktiv in Doors arbeiten und gibt bei Inaktivität die ungenutzte Lizenz wieder frei. Sie erreichen so eine optimale Lizenzpoolgröße da stehts die maximale Anzahl an ungenutzten Lizenzen für Ihre Mitarbeiter zur Verfügung steht. Nebenbei erhöhen Sie so auch Ihre Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit da diese nicht mehr auf freie Lizenzen warten müssen.
Der DOORS Bouncer reduziert die Zeit, die ein DOORS-Client ungenutzt geöffnet ist und damit die Anzahl der benötigten DOORS-Lizenzen. Nach unserer Erfahrung reduziert alleine der Betrieb im reinen Hinweis-Modus die Lizabzanzahl un mehr als 20%.
Funktionsweise:
Sobald ein User innerhalb einer einzustellenden Zeitspanne kein Objekt mehr angeklickt hat oder Module geöffnet hat, wird eine konfigurierbare Warnung oder Bitte angezeigt, die DOORS-Lizenz für andere Anwender freizugeben. Weiterhin kann optional eine Rauswerf-Zeit eingestellt, nach dessen Ablauf der User aus DOORS abgemeldet wird. Dabei kann konfiguriert werden, ob die ungespeicherten Module gespeichert werden sollen oder nicht.
Installation:
Der DOORS-Bouncer wird als DXL-Script im DOORS-Client hinterlegt. Dazu muss der DOORS-Bouncer auf jedem Rechner in den Doors-Ordner kopiert werden. Dies kann auf verschiedene Arten und Weisen passieren: Hierzu könnteman ein Software-Verteil-Tool benutzen, aber auch Gruppenrichtlinien, sofern die Rechner mit DOORS entsprechend identifizierbar sind. Alternativ kann man auch im DOORS-Server ein zentrales doorshome-share einrichten, welches von allen Clients benutzt wird. In diesem Falle ist keine installation auf den PCs notwendig.

The DOORS Bouncer reduces the time a DOORS client is open unused and thus the number of DOORS licenses needed. In our experience, running in hint-only mode alone reduces the number of licenses needed by more than 20%.
Functionality:
As soon as a user has not clicked on any object or opened any module within a configurable period of time, a configurable warning or request is displayed to release the DOORS license for other users. Furthermore, an ejection time can be optionally set, after which the user will be logged out of DOORS. It can be configured whether the unsaved modules should be saved or not.
Installation:
The DOORS bouncer is stored as a DXL script in the DOORS client. For this purpose the DOORS-Bouncer has to be copied into the Doors folder on each computer. This can be done in different ways: You can use a software distribution tool, but also group policies, if the computers are identifiable with DOORS. Alternatively, you can set up a central doorshome-share in the DOORS server, which is used by all clients. In this case no installation on the PCs is necessary.
